Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley meet again in London for the WBO heavyweight world championship after producing one of the most dramatic heavyweight fights of 2026 in their first encounter. Dubois enters the rematch as champion after surviving two knockdowns before stopping Wardley in the 11th round in Manchester, while Wardley returns determined to reclaim the title he lost in his first professional defeat. The rematch brings together Dubois’ explosive power, physical strength and improved composure against Wardley’s aggression, durability and proven ability to hurt the champion. With the WBO heavyweight title at stake and both fighters already familiar with each other’s strengths and vulnerabilities, the second meeting carries major significance for the British heavyweight scene and for the wider world-title picture.
